Custom Dance Floor Rentals
Wood, Marble, Checkerboard and Custom Printed Floors Across Southern California
The dance floor is the one rental every guest ends up standing on. It also sets the size and shape of the room, because everything else gets laid out around it. Getting it right is partly a look decision and partly a logistics one, and we plan both together.
Finishes and Styles
Our inventory covers white and high gloss, black and white checkerboard, blue and white checkerboard, wood, marble, and custom printed surfaces. Each reads very differently once the room is lit, and each suits a different kind of event.
White and gloss floors reflect uplighting and monograms, which is why they show up in so many ballroom installs. Checkerboard is the classic choice and holds up under almost any color scheme. Custom printed floors carry artwork, patterns or a monogram edge to edge, and they are the option that most often gets photographed.
Custom Monograms and Printed Designs
A monogram or custom print turns the floor into the focal point of the room rather than the surface underneath it. We have printed initials, full graphic patterns, and designs built around a cultural or event theme.
This is worth deciding early. Printed floors need lead time and artwork approval, and the design needs to work at the actual size of the floor rather than on a screen.
Sizing Your Dance Floor
Floor size follows guest count, not room size. A common starting point is planning for roughly a third to a half of your guests dancing at once, then sizing from there. Too small and it stays crowded all night. Too large and the room reads empty even when people are dancing.
Venue layout matters as much as the number. Where the band or DJ sits, where the head table goes, and how the room flows all move where the floor should sit. We work this out against the floor plan rather than guessing from a guest count alone.
