Ballroom, Sweetheart and Custom Draping Across Southern California

Draping changes a room faster than almost anything else you can bring into it. It softens hard architecture, hides what you would rather guests not look at, and gives a venue a defined shape instead of four blank walls. We keep our draping inventory in house at our Anaheim studio and install it ourselves, so the fabric you see below is the fabric that shows up at your venue.

Ballroom Draping

Full ballroom draping wraps the perimeter of a room in continuous fabric, usually floor to ceiling. It is the option most couples and event hosts picture when they imagine transforming a hotel ballroom or a banquet hall. It covers patterned wallpaper, service doors, and mismatched wall finishes, and it gives lighting something clean to wash across.

Ballroom draping also solves rooms that are simply too large for the guest count. Bringing the drape line in creates a smaller, warmer footprint without moving anyone to a different venue.

Sweetheart and Backdrop Draping

Sweetheart draping frames a single focal point rather than an entire room. It sits behind the head table, the ceremony, the cake, or the stage, and it is the backdrop in a large share of the photographs that come out of the night.

Because it is concentrated in one area, backdrop draping is often the right choice when a full ballroom install is more than the event needs. It delivers most of the visual impact at a fraction of the fabric.

Colors, Fabrics and Finishes

Our draping inventory spans multiple colors and materials including velvet, scuba and chiffon. The gallery below shows real installations rather than swatches, which is usually more useful than a swatch when you are trying to picture how a color behaves at scale under venue lighting.

Layering with Florals and Lighting

Draping is rarely the whole design. It is the surface everything else reads against. Floral installations, monograms, and uplighting all land differently on fabric than they do on a bare wall, and we plan those elements together rather than separately.

Fabric also reads very differently in a photograph than in person, and differently again once the room is lit. If you are deciding between two directions, we can walk through what each one does in your specific venue.

Planning Draping for Your Venue

Every venue handles draping differently. Ceiling height determines panel length. Rigging points, or the absence of them, determine what is possible overhead. Some venues restrict what can be attached to walls or require that installation happen inside a specific window. Fire code and venue rules on fabric vary as well.

This is why we ask about the venue early. A site visit tells us more in twenty minutes than a floor plan does in an hour, and it prevents the kind of surprise that surfaces on install day when there is no time to solve it.

Draping Across Orange County and Southern California

We deliver and install throughout Orange County, Los Angeles, and the surrounding Southern California region from our Anaheim location. Our team handles setup before the event and breakdown afterward, so draping is not something your venue staff or your planner has to coordinate around.

Draping is often booked alongside other pieces from our event rental inventory, and it is usually simpler to plan the room as a whole rather than category by category. Mandaps and overhead structures are covered under trussing and mandaps, and fabric is frequently paired with custom florals on the same install.

We drape for weddings, corporate events, and social celebrations across the region.
